Pre-reading Reflection
Have you ever wanted the attention of someone who didn't even notice you?
I have wanted the attention of someone who didn't even notice me before, and it was kind of sad that they stopped talking to me.
How did that make you feel?
I felt like they were doing it on purpose when actually they weren't. I felt kind of left out and secluded.
How did you respond?
I responded to this situation by talking it out and making sure there was nothing wrong.
Have you ever gotten so mad at someone that you said something you didn't really mean?
I have gotten mad at someone and said something that I didn't mean before, and I regretted it because I got in trouble. I felt really stupid and that situation has made me think before I say every time I speak to someone now.
How did you feel after you calmed down?
I felt a little better after I calmed down because I knew that nothing horrible would happen and that everything would be better after the situation was done with.
What did you do about the situation?
After the situation, I apologized and told myself to think before I speak no matter who I'm talking to.
